Saline Lectronics Inc., a leading electronics contract manufacturer, is pleased to announce the addition of Margaret Murdock as its Director of Quality and Continuous Improvements. Hiring new and experienced talent is an integral part of Saline Lectronics’ overall plan to cement its role as a proactive assembly partner to its customers.

With an extensive engineering and operations background within high-tech electronics production, Murdock comes to Saline Lectronics with a successful track record of implementing best practices and effective organizational change. Within her new role, Murdock plans to inspire growth and evolution through a culture of discipline and open communication. “I have the innate ability to assess organizational processes, see opportunities for improvement and implement strategies for success,” said Murdock.

Murdock earned her BS in Electrical Engineering and began her career in process engineering and quality assurance.  After earning her MBA with a focus in Corporate Strategy, International Business and Operations Management from the University of Michigan, her career developed into a unique combination of project engineering, process improvement and operations management.

Since the mid-90s’, Murdock has been a fixture in the Ann Arbor engineering and manufacturing community, holding leadership positions including Director of Operations at Nematron Corporation, Director of Engineering at Xycom Automation, and most recently General Manager at Advanced Photonix, Inc.

Murdock emphasizes that employees are the most important asset of an organization and believes in empowering and investing in her team. As a self-proclaimed change agent, she is enthusiastic about joining Saline Lectronics and making a difference through her leadership style and fresh business strategies.

Scott Sober, VP of Quality and Continuous Improvements, agrees.  “Due to my previous working relationship with Margaret, I knew that she will be a fantastic attribute to our team.  Her talent and expertise will help support and continue to drive our growth trajectory.
