Libra Industries, a privately held electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, announces that it has purchased and installed a SAR-800-B 1-CL High Performance Router from Schunk Electronic. The sale was liaised by The Murray Percival Company.
The SAR-800-B 1-CL Router is the smallest of its kind with a large milling range of 450 mm x 400 mm. The system features a compact shuttle system with only an 800 mm machine width. Additionally, the router offers the shortest cycle times thanks to high-speed linear motors.
The SAR-800-B 1-CL Router includes a tool technology kit with automatic tool exchange, broken tool detection and bit control for different levels. Offline creation of the NC programs can be achieved using a CAD/CAM system. Operating the SAR-800-B 1-CL Router is simple due to the latest IPC technology.
