Valtronic Strengthens Sales Operations with Hire of Christopher Cassan

Valtronic Technologies (USA), Inc., manufacturer of miniaturized electronic products, announcing that, effective June 8, Christopher J. Cassan has joined the team as the new National Sales Manager and reports to Jay Wimer, President and CEO.

In this role, Chris will be leading sales operations for the North American Market. His responsibilities are focused on achieving client deliverables, attaining profit margins, generating new business opportunities, managing the departments’ activities such as sales reporting, territory planning and CRM. As National Sales Manager, Chris will work closely with other departments including enterprise, operations, engineering, quality, and administration.

Chris is a graduate of the Ohio University in Athens, Ohio with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. He is based in Solon, Ohio.

Chris has many years of electronics industry background and experience. He was most recently with the high service distributor, Newark Element 14 as Director of Quotations. He led a centralized quoting team of 25 and business development managers for sales and profit growth.

He has had numerous managerial leadership positions with Avnet, Arrow and Memec Insight. Profit and loss responsibility, along with large branch organizational structure to achieve sales growth implementing customer value based selling techniques.
