Scienscope International, a complete inspection solutions provider, has appointed electronics industry veteran Andrew Bresnahan, with Performance Technologies Group, as its exclusive representative for upstate New York. Performance Technologies is an established manufacturers’ representative company serving the Upstate New York electronics and industrial assembly market.
Bresnahan will work closely with end-users, contract manufacturers and integrators to showcase Scienscope’s unique X-ray solutions. He will assist in product demonstrations, process assistance and problem resolution applications.
Mr. Bresnahan commented, “I am very pleased to be able to represent this product throughout the upstate NY territory. These systems are ideally suited to those companies that need an economical approach to X-ray. We see a very good outlook for sales in the region because so many of the companies here are small to mid-size shops and many of the larger, more complex X-ray systems are just out of their price range. Even though the Scienscope units are very economically priced, they still offer some of the more sophisticated technologies, including multi-axis manipulators and digital detectors. As a result, even the smaller shops can integrate these higher level capabilities and processes into their production and QA plans.”
Bresnahan brings more than 23 years of professional sales experience and knowledge in electronic equipment sales. Prior to joining Performance Technologies Group in early 2009, he worked for REStronics Metro, Alpha Metals and London Chemical Company. Bresnahan also is a member of the ESDA and SMTA. He lives in the Syracuse, NY area, perfectly situated to travel the upstate NY area on a daily basis. For more information about Performance Technologies Group, visit www.ptgnewyork.com.
