Inovar, Inc., a full-service EMS provider, announces that Bernie Schneider has joined the team as Vice President of Operations.
In his new position, Bernie reports directly to Craig Rupp, President. He oversees Inovar’s Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. In this role, he is responsible for developing efficient and globally scalable solutions that effectively address Inovar’s current and emerging business, process, and infrastructure requirements.
Bernie came to the company with more than 20 years of experience in the global electronics manufacturing industry. Over the course of his career, he served in a broad range of increasingly more complex and globally responsible executive-level roles for various leading EMS organizations including Solectron, Flextronics, Paramit, and Plexus, as well as several OEM companies including Alsius Medical and Multitest Electronic Systems. Bernie professional experience in the EMS industry covers all facets of the Operations function and includes management roles in Purchasing, Supply Chain, New Product Introduction, Manufacturing, Program Management, Sales, as well as an expat assignment in Guadalajara, Mexico. On the OEM side, he was focused on creating strategic outsourcing solutions and building robust relationships with EMS partner companies.
Bernie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Golden Gate University in San Francisco and Lean Six Sigma certification from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
