SOTA INTRODUCES NEW LINE OF HIGH FREQUENCY CHIP RESISTORS FOR MICROWAVE/RF USE

Aug 21, 2001

State College, PA, August 2001 State of the Art (SOTA), Inc., a leading manufacturer of high reliability resistors for military, aerospace, satellite and other mission critical applications, has introduced a new line of high frequency chip resistors. These compact, lightweight resistors are designed specifically for use in microwave and RF applications.

The new SOTA RF Series 0402 thin film chip resistors provide extremely low return loss in frequency ranges to 16Ghz, making them highly effective in critical RF and microwave applications. And because they are characterized for optimum VSWR, these devices are ideal for use in circuitry requiring superior microwave and RF performance.

The new resistors feature an ultra-miniature case size of just 0.040 by 0.025, with a broad choice of termination styles.

Highest quality levels for the new resistors are achieved through SOTAs extensive military QPL and space level experience, rigid quality controls, and extensive high reliability screening and testing capabilities.

Other high frequency resistive products in the SOTA RF Series include terminations and attenuators in frequency ranges as high as 20Ghz.

Pricing for the new RF Series 0402 resistors starts at $1.00 each in production quantities. Delivery is 12 to 14 weeks A.R.O.
