STI Electronics, Inc., a full service organization providing training services, training materials, analytical/failure analysis, prototyping, and small-to-medium volume contract PCB assembly, announces Pam Whalen’s 10-year anniversary. Whalen’s anniversary was celebrated with cake and all of her colleagues at STI. David Raby, President/CEO, presented her with a certificate in appreciation of her 10 years of dedicated service.
In her inventory control position, Whalen is responsible for receiving and kitting inventory and releasing it to the manufacturing floor in tandem with the manufacturing schedules.
“Pam is one of the people working behind the scenes ensuring that our contract assembly operations continue to run smoothly without any delays,” said Mark McMeen, VP of Engineering Services. “Her attention to detail and work ethics, coupled with her upbeat attitude, provides STI with a valuable asset to the manufacturing group.”
STI Electronics’ manufacturing lab encompasses 26,000 ft.2 of floor space containing three surface mount lines, automated through-hole processing, and multiple flexible work cells for final assembly, rework and repair, box build, and test. The facility and equipment is complimented by a highly skilled and trained work force of electronic technicians and associates, all of whom are certified to the highest standard of IPC J-STD-001 FS (Space Addendum).
