New Updated Model of Bluetooth Enabled Smart Tweezers Can Now Send Device Information as Well As Receive

Smart Tweezers Bluetooth ST5S-BT sends measurement results and can receive test device settings over a remote connection.

Smart Tweezers Bluetooth ST5S-BT sends measurement results and can receive test device settings over a remote connection.

An updated model of the Bluetooth enabled Smart Tweezers LCR- and ESR-meter, the ST5S-BT2 has been released. This new model allows the receiving software to send specific device test settings while using custom profiles. This allows the device's settings to be remotely set according to user preferences, without the need to manually set specifications such as test frequencies.

Smart Tweezers ST5S-BT2 is based on the popular ST-5S model with high basic accuracy of 0.2% and extensive features; this model has the added bonus of sending measurement results to PC, tablets and smart phones over Bluetooth connection.

Using the USB receiver stick to connect to PC, Smart Tweezers will send the measurement results to communication software in real time. It allows seamless integration with programs such as Windows' Smart Tweezers Bluetooth Utility and National Instrument's LabView. The values sent can be saved into an Excel-compatible file, or database for later processing. Measurement Results can also be sent to dedicated apps on Android or iOS, and custom made programs.

Using custom measurement profiles, users can set specific parameters for a component to meet, including type and measurement value. If a component does not fall within these parameters, it is instantly given a pass or fail. Users can set these profiles using a previously measured component's results or from scratch. Users can also set device test settings like measurement mode, test signal frequency, secondary parameters, etc.

The Smart Tweezers ST5S-BT with Bluetooth is available in the LCR-Reader Store
