Altus, a leading distributor of capital equipment for the electronics assembly industry in the UK and Ireland, enjoyed an unparalleled week of success at Productronica 2017, having exhibited solo for the first time.
Over 44,000 visitors attended the exhibition in Munich, Germany from 42 different countries and this impressive footfall has been reflected in Altus’ enquiry list.
The focus of the show was on subjects including Internet of Things, big data and miniaturisation, and Altus introduced visitors to a range of equipment to help the industry in these topics.
The Altus team were on hand at their ‘hub’ to offer invaluable advice and support for visitors and were on hand to introduce their customers to principle suppliers of Altus’ range of equipment.
Richard Booth, managing director at Altus said: “Productronica 2017 was a fantastic show! Having exhibited for the first time as a company, we were overwhelmed by the support we received from customers.
“Having our own stand allowed us to offer impartial advice and discuss specific requirements. We also introduced customers to the equipment at our principles stands so they could see exactly how it would benefit them in their production process.
“The exhibition not only allowed us to introduce our existing customers to the latest capital equipment, but we also met many new and potential clients. We have returned to the UK with an impressive enquiry list which we are looking forward to following up.
“I would like to thank everyone who visited the Altus stand at Productronica, and to all our principles for their support at the exhibition.”
