MicroCare Corporation is pleased to announce Ms. Sheri Pear, of Meriden CT, has joined MicroCare as the company’s first Marketing Communications Specialist. In this newly-created position, she will work with top management at the company — including Manufacturing, R&D, Advertising, Product Management, and Sales — to deploy new marketing programs which will sustain and accelerate the rapid growth MicroCare has enjoyed over the past four years. Ms. Pear joins MicroCare after holding similar posts at Cigna Insurance and Brady Corporation, plus a long stint at AW Direct, a Connecticut-based distributor of towing vehicle accessories.

“In today’s marketing environment, it’s all about creating relevant, compelling communications, and Sheri is a very talented and creative writer,” said Ms. Guylaine Guerette, Senior Marketing Manager at MicroCare. “Having Sheri on our team will allow us to develop brochures, specs and white papers which will help customers select the right products for their specific needs.”

Among her many tasks, Ms. Pear will support the diverse international marketing efforts at MicroCare. This includes creating sales literature and brochures in different languages, working with the Critical Cleaning Lab to prepare technical articles, developing copy for advertisements and videos, generating web content and press releases, and coordinating trade shows, all while adhering to intricate branding standards. This should not be a problem for Ms. Pear who supervised a team of 20 writers and designers at Brady.

“Sheri is bringing to MicroCare exactly the right skills at exactly the right time,” agreed MicroCare Vice President Mike Jones. “MicroCare has a compelling story but it’s a complex message, all about costs and chemicals and the environment and safety. Sheri is coming to us with a twenty-year track record of successfully explaining complicated concepts in ways customers understand.”

“I feel MicroCare is the perfect place for me to be right now,” Ms. Pear said. “It’s a fast-moving team. We have new products to commercialize, existing products which need to be refreshed, and distributors who need training materials. It’s very exciting and dynamic, and I’ll be using all of my experience and skills.”

Ms. Pear is a Connecticut native and an alumna of Charter Oak State College, New Britain, CT. She lives with her husband of 29 years, Michael. Ms. Pear enjoys cheering on the Red Sox and supporting the performing arts, including plays, musical theatre and concerts.
