The LTC3310S features a Silent Switcher®2 architecture with integrated thermal loop bypass capacitors for high efficiency, small footprint applications (up to 5MHz) and excellent EMI performance.
Multiphase operation allows direct paralleling of multiple devices to provide higher output current. The LTC3310S's 2.25V to 5.5V input range supports a wide range of applications, including most intermediate bus voltages.
The integrated low on-resistance MOSFET provides up to 10A of continuous load current with minimal thermal derating.
The output voltage range of 0.5V to VIN is ideal for point-of-load applications such as high current/low voltage DSP/FPGA/GPU/ASIC reference designs.
The LTC3310S can be turned on within 35ns and can achieve high step-down ratio power supplies at high frequencies. The 100% duty cycle operation provides low dropout performance.
The overall reference voltage accuracy of the LTC3310S is between –40 degrees Celsius and 125 degrees Celsius. +/- 1% of the operating junction temperature range.
Other features include a power good signal when the output is in regulation, precision enable threshold, output overvoltage protection, thermal shutdown, a temperature monitor, clock synchronization, mode selection and output short circuit protection.
The LTC3310S is available in a thermally enhanced 18-lead 3mm x 3mm x 0.94mm LQFN package.
Class E and Class I device specifications operate over a range of operating junction temperatures from –40 degrees Celsius to 125 degrees Celsius.
