ACL Staticide® introduces critical cleaning dry swabs to its contamination control product line. These high quality critical cleaning swabs are economical and can be used in hard-to-reach areas. Each style offers a unique property to suit a specific cleaning option.
All swabs are ISO Class 4-7 compatible and are comprised of various materials, including polyester knit and microfiber foam, and are equipped with easy-to-grip handles. Each are designed for applications such as automotive, medical device manufacturing and assembly, and electronics manufacturing.
Polyurethane Foam Swab – Model 7020/7022 – The fiberless tip construction generates little to no particles for optimal maintenance of office equipment and electronic devices. Comprised of medical-grade foam, it provides exceptional particle entrapment for sensitive applications such as medical device manufacturing. The swab is available in two sizes. Model 7020 (approximately 3 inches) is packed 500 per bag, two bags per case. Model 7022 (5 inches) is packed 100 swabs per bag, 10 bags per case.
ESD Microfiber Foam Swab – Model 7250 – Constructed of medical-grade foam wrapped in microfiber knit, the swab tip effectively removes and holds liquids or contaminants. The ESD rigid handle has a dissipative resistance making it suitable for ESD static-sensitive surfaces. The 3-inch swab is packed 500 per bag, two bags per case.
Polyester Knit Swab – Model 7060 – This non-abrasive, lint-free swab is effective in environments requiring critical cleaning and durability. Constructed of double-layer polyester knit, the elongated tip is robust enough to withstand agitation and is compatible with most solvents and flux removers. The 6-inch swab is packed 100 per bag, 10 bags per case.
