ANDA Receives Editor's Choice Award for New Dispensing & Assembly System

Anda Technologies announces that it was awarded two 2020 Mexico Technology Awards. The company received one in the category of Conformal Coating for its iCoat-6 High Precision Selective Conformal Coating. It also received Editor’s Choice for the PDCA Series Multi-function Dispensing and Assembly System. The awards were announced during a Virtual Awards Ceremony on Monday, October 26, 2020. 

The new PDCA Series Multi-function Dispensing and Assembly System is a work-cell that can be customized to include multiple processes in a single machine. Precision and flexibility are achieved by combining high-speed, precision linear motor technology with multiple X and Z axis.

The first X axis combines atmospheric plasma treatment, selective conformal coating and jet dispensing. The second X axis is reserved for assembly, inspection or other customizable tasks. Fields of application include plasma treatment, selective conformal coating, encapsulation, underfill, wire bonding, assembly, etc.

The iCoat-6 is a highly precise, selective conformal coating machine offers closed-loop fluid heating that provides a constant fluid viscosity, even in machine suspension. The recirculating fluid delivery system offers stable fluid pressure and temperature, even under varying production and incoming air pressure conditions.

For thin-film applications, a laser film width sensor provides a closed-loop automatic adjustment of thin-film coating parameters. A dual head configuration with fixed valve separation is standard for the iCoat-6.
