Specialty Coating Systems (SCS) is pleased to announce the relocation of its Switzerland operations to a new custom-built facility. The approximately 2,200 square-meter coating operation, which is located at Rue du Collège 43, 2300 La Chaux-de-Fonds, is ISO 9001:2015 certified and specifically designed to optimize quality and provide excellent service for customers across the medical device, electronics, aerospace and automotive markets.
Along with the site relocation, SCS has also announced that its Switzerland operations, formerly known as Comelec SA, will now legally operate under the name Specialty Coating Systems SA. According to David Ellis, Managing Director, Europe, "the company name and location may have changed, but the highly experienced team in Switzerland remains the same, bringing decades of Parylene and ALD coating expertise to every project."
In addition to the Switzerland facility, SCS services its European customers through coating sites in England, Germany, Czech Republic and Ireland. These sites are part of SCS' extensive network of 21 coating centers worldwide, including additional facilities throughout the Americas and Asia. SCS' global reach allows the company to provide comprehensive support to its diverse customer base.
