More Options for PCB Terminals

May 08, 2003

Easby Electronics is offering a line of low-cost plug and socket PCB terminal blocks in a vast range of styles and sizes, which now include 3.50 and 3.81mm pitches.

With international approvals, the pluggable terminal blocks are suitable for panel builders and in a wide range of applications such as industrial controls, communication systems and vending machines.

The Dinkle EC and ESD Series of plug terminal blocks are offered by Easby with the matching ECH and EHD Series of PCB-mountable header sockets.

The new 3.50 and 3.81mm pitch EC plug blocks are available with from 2 to 24 ways and in three different styles, for horizontal and vertical wire insertion.

These mate with ECH and EECH header sockets which enable horizontal or vertical plug insertion.

The headers are either single or double row sockets.

The double row sockets are offered with access to the two rows either adjacent or offset.

The complete range of EC and ESD Series include plug blocks in pitches of 3.50, 3.81, 5.00, 5.08, 7.50 and 7.62mm, with horizontal, vertical and front wire entry designs in 15 different styles.

They are suitable for a range of wire sizes from 30 to 8.

The steel yoke design ensures reliable connection in all applications, while offering design flexibility during installation or later modification.

The full range of matching Dinkle ECH and EHD Series of PCB-mountable header sockets which complement these series are available in 22 styles for horizontal and vertical insertion of the corresponding terminal blocks.

They include single and double row sockets up to 2 x 24 ways.

All the plugs and sockets series are manufactured to meet the requirements of IEC60998 and UL1059 and are approved by UL and VDE.

Dinkle also offers a customised service, modifying designs for specific applications.
