The MY500 jet printer is the SMT industry's first stencil-free printer. The MY500 uses a patented JetPrinting Technology to shoot volumes of solder paste at 500 dots per second.

After its highly successful debut at the Productronica trade show in November, the MY500 Jet Printer will go on display at locations throughout Europe enabling busy and time-conscious manufacturers take a closer look.

The MYDATA crew will demo the machine together with a MY12E, which also attracted attention during Productronica for its ability to handle virtually any component and board size.

The Rock the Process Tour begins in March, and will continue until June 2006. The truck will stop at more than 30 cities in at least 10 countries, including France, Spain, the UK, the Netherlands, Finland, Estonia, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and the Czech Republic.

The MY500 jet printer is the SMT industry's first stencil-free printer. The MY500 uses a patented JetPrinting Technology to shoot volumes of solder paste at 500 dots per second.

Because it needs no stencils, operators can change the print program in a matter of seconds. Furthermore, they can control the volume of solder paste deposits for each pad an on-demand benefit that is not possible with conventional screen printers. With the MY500, the electronics manufacturing industry can more quickly optimize solder paste application, thereby increasing quality and significantly lowering costs.

Available in all MY-Series models, the E-series offers from 96 to 256 feeder positions, making it suitable for high-mix production as well as large-board assembly. By using a unique configuration that combines the Linescan vision system and Midas and Hydra mounthead, the E-series can handle up to 22mm-high components and 132-mm-long connectors packages that usually need to be placed manually. Even heavy and complex components such as CCGAs and BGAs can be placed accurately by theE-series. When it comes to odd component feeding, the E-series uses MYDATA's Generic Feeder Interface (GFI), enabling a wide range of special feeder options.

The new E-machine series are fully compatible with all MYDATA software, mount tools and feeders, and easily integrate into any existing MY-series line. There is no need for additional training, service or programming, and line balancing and changeovers are just as simple as on any MYDATA line.

MYDATA automation designs, manufactures and markets SMT process equipment for the electronics industry. Its mission is to be always innovating in order to satisfy the electronic industry's need for surface mount technology and services that meet the highest demands in terms of productivity and quality.
