What's happening at Polyonics in 2008?

Polyonics will continue to expand its customer support and technical training for RoHS compliance globally. We have added support staff in our offices in Singapore, and added a new Technical Sales office in Shenzhen, China. Our mission is to sell products that not only comply with RoHS requirements, country-by-country, but also to assist in the practical transitions for each manufacturer. A case in point is the award-winning move to provide RoHS identification labels for components and assemblies to assist in the identification of compliant �green� subassemblies and assemblies. New product development continues, as we now offer an ESD-safe and RoHS-compliant family of label materials. Additionally, Polyonics is providing brand protection and product authentication products for electronics manufacturers and distributors (but only on an authorized case-by-case basis) to assist in the fight against warranty fraud and other counterfeit product or fraudulent activities.

Moreover, as the growth in Asia continues we plan to open a warehouse in Asia to better serve the requirements of that region�s electronics manufacturing. We also are beginning a series of customer support/training activities targeted in India and Eastern Europe, as manufacturing increases in these regions.
