Aug 14, 2008 North Billerica, Massachusetts, USA � Metal Squeegees are a key innovation in SMT manufacturing which give way to high productivity and volume output with minimal equipment downtime and product quality loss. Despite their small size and overall cost, they remain a critical and often overlooked element in the planning and implementation of SMT production. Distinct specifications are required for metal squeegee implementation compared to operations that have rubber or plastic squeegees in use. This paper presents design guidelines and information to assist engineers in the transformation to high-quality metal squeegee based SMT line production.
