PROMATION Selected by Sennheiser New Mexico LLC to Integrate Intelligent Bar Code Labeling Solution

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WI � PROMATION, Inc. announces that it has been selected by Sennheiser New Mexico LLC to integrate an intelligent bar code labeling solution. Sennheiser has operations in Albuquerque, NM in which it manufactures wireless audio products including the Evolution Wireless series.

Gary Goldberg, President and CEO of PROMATION, stated, �I am delighted to announce that our ELC-1100P automatic label placement systems have been selected by Sennheiser to streamline the company's production for product traceability.�

For this integration, PROMATION has partnered with TEKLYNX Labelview software (for bar code generation) and has written a custom program (within PROMATION's own labeler) to seamlessly integrate Sennheiser's network requirements.

The system selected included a 600 dpi high resolution Zebra printer (�Print on Demand�) internal PCB flipper (for dual sided label placement capability), 1D/2D bar code verifier (with 2nd chance feature) and small media (13 mm reel) capability for printing data matrix codes, picking and placing 6 mm x 6 mm labels into small areas on the PCB arrays. The programmable Z allowed Sennheiser to place labels on both PCBs and on top of components also. The U program allows for -90 degree up to + 180 degree label rotation.
