Juki received an award in the category of Process Control Tools for its Intelligent Shop Floor Solutions Software (IS). IS raises production preparation, scheduling, quality, and monitoring to a new level by bringing together related functions into one comprehensive software package. Using a server-based architecture, IS gives managers, supervisors, and engineers the tools that they need to streamline production and operate in the most efficient manner possible to reduce cost and improve overall productivity.
IS software is composed of individual pieces of software specialized for each type of job classification and a series of options for higher added value. The client-server system connects the IS server and client PCs on which the software is installed via Ethernet, allowing users to manage multiple Juki lines.
Additionally, Juki received an award for its FX-3 Chip Shooter in the category of Pick-and-Place. With IPC speed of 60K cph, the FX-3 marks the entrance of Juki into ultra high-speed assembly lines and introduces Juki's standards for high quality, reliability and cost of ownership. The modular FX-3 fits seamlessly into Juki's portfolio of products and adds its powerful optimization software and quick-change feeder banks to set the standard for electronics manufacturing uptime.
Now in its 17th year, the SMT VISION Awards program is an annual celebration of product excellence in electronics surface mount assembly. Premier products based on the finest examples of creative advancement in technology in key areas are chosen by a distinguished panel of industry experts.
