RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA — Aqueous Technologies Corp., North America’s largest provider of batch defluxing systems, introduces the Trident OneShot automatic defluxing and cleanliness testing system. Trident OneShot is designed to provide automatic cleaning (de-fluxing), cleanliness testing, and drying of post-reflow circuit assemblies. The system provides the same cleaning, cleanliness testing, and drying performance of the multi-award winning Trident III Series at almost half of the cost.

Trident OneShot is equipped with familiar features such as the industry’s largest touch-screen interface (16"/406 mm), shadow-reducing focus-wash technology, unlimited recipe quantities, Windows PC control platform, networking capabilities, and real-time cleanliness testing. Optional bar-code scanning and SQL database searches provide the ultimate in SPC data storage and recovery.

Trident OneShot is capable of removing all flux/paste residues (rosin, no-clean, water soluble) from any alloy and is designed to use a selection of pre-dosed defluxing chemistries. Simply add the contents of the pre-measured chemistry into Trident OneShot, close the door and press the button. No measuring, no mixing, no mess. The boards will be cleaned, cleanliness tested, and dried in less than 30 minutes (the fastest cycle time in its class).

Trident OneShot may be operated with a variety of pre-dosed chemical additives or in a water-only configuration as the application allows.

While Trident OneShot’s price is very low, it features all of the power and process control of the company’s flagship model, Trident III. The Trident Series defluxing products have won 12 major industry awards including Best Cleaning Product of 2008, 2009, and 2010 by publications such as Circuits Assembly Magazine, SMT Magazine, Global SMT and Packaging Magazine, EM Asia Magazine, and Advanced Packaging Magazine.

Only Aqueous Technologies, with more than 3,300 machines sold across six continents, can offer the industry’s longest equipment warranty ― three years. That is two years longer than any other cleaner’s warranty.

Trident OneShot is truly a “world machine,” able to display multiple regional languages for ease of use in virtually any region.

Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Aqueous Technologies Corporation is North America's leading manufacturer of aqueous cleaning systems.
