Catalyst Manufacturing Services is pleased to announce the acquisition of the PCBA Division of Harvard Custom Manufacturing, Inc. (HCM) based in Owego, New York, effective August 4, 2010.
Randall Lainhart, Executive VP at Catalyst stated “Catalyst has a manufacturing location a few miles from the HCM site which made this an attractive situation for both companies on many levels. There are many similarities between our organizations – similar business models as well as target markets”. Lainhart continued “the merging of these operations will provide greater engineering depth and advanced capabilities for both the Catalyst and HCM customer base. HCM’s advanced capabilities in system level assembly, including engineering and test, were of great interest to Catalyst”.

Catalyst Manufacturing Services is a full service contract manufacturing company with locations in Endicott, NY, Raleigh, NC, and Tijuana, Mexico. Catalyst’s offerings include product design assistance, documentation development, PCB assembly and test, box build, cable/harness assembly, order fulfillment/logistics, and depot repair services, all within a standardized equipment and systems platform.
