Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:ARW) kicks off its annual Arrowfest exhibition, launching a multicity, coast-to-coast tour for customers and suppliers of its Americas Components business. Now in its 22nd consecutive year, Arrowfest begins Sept. 16 in Chicago.
More than 2,500 industry professionals attend Arrowfest each year, including design engineers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), contract manufacturers, purchasing/procurement representatives, and supply chain professionals.
In response to customer feedback and the needs of the marketplace, this year Arrow is adding a new location in Los Angeles.
Arrow has teamed with leading manufacturers to offer technical seminars that address issues relevant to the local marketplace at each Arrowfest location. Seminar topics include lighting, alternative energy, embedded networking, wireless communications, power solutions and more. In addition to technical seminars, Arrowfest exhibitions provide hands-on demonstrations and information on the latest products, solutions, tools and innovations.
"Arrowfest is an opportunity to bring customers and suppliers together to share and discuss the latest trends, design techniques and new products," said Vinnie Vellucci, president of Americas Components for Arrow Electronics. "The staying power of this educational, networking forum speaks both to its success and the value it provides our customers."
