Though the new technology – called ProActiv -- is currently under wraps until its official debut via webinar on September 24th, the intense development process and thorough internal and Beta site trials have already proven its capability. Customers along with Electronics Midwest and SMTA International visitors can get an early look the novel system first-hand during live demonstrations at both events.
The centerpiece of DEK’s exhibits at each show will be the company’s workhorse Horizon 03iX print platform, complete with a newly redesigned cover package that enhances usability and operator management by enabling quick access from both the front and rear of the system. Fast changeover and 6-Sigma performance are the cornerstones of all of the Horizon models, with the Horizon 03iX delivering alignment capability of 2.0 Cpk @ +/- 12.5 microns. Fully displaying the Horizon 03ix’s power and easy retrofitability, the system will also be equipped with DEK’s suite of award-winning productivity tools including technologies such as HawkEye 1700 post-print verification and Cyclone understencil cleaning. Each of these powerful tools is easily controlled via DEK’s Instinctiv V9 software, which makes machine management intuitive and comprehensive.
Delivering full process capability for both mainstream SMT and sophisticated, highly miniaturized devices, DEK will also leverage both events to illustrate the importance of proper stencil design and manufacture, as well as the positive impact that optimized understencil cleaning solutions and fabrics can have on the print process.
“DEK is delighted that we have the opportunity to use both of these venues to unveil ProActiv, our latest – and very significant – technology advance alongside our proven Horizon 03iX platform,” says Brian Lau, DEK General Manager for the Americas and Europe. “We look forward to welcoming show delegates at both events and showing assembly specialists just how much more they can expect from DEK.”
