The Hole Doctor - II is an inline, conveyorized system that was developed for the inspection and verification of hole count, hole diameters, location accuracy and hole quality on rigid, microvia/HDI or flexible printed circuit boards as well as LED substrates. The system can be used after drilling, de-smearing, plating, or for final inspection and quality control prior to shipment to the end-user at the printed circuit fabrication site or in the incoming inspection department prior to assembly.
The Hole Doctor- II is capable of locating numerous defects, including plugged holes, improper hole diameters, poor drilling accuracy and other critical parameters. Additionally, the system features SPC software for process verification and control. The Hole Doctor series of inspection systems has delivered improved manufacturing yields and significant cost savings for more than 10 years.
