BTU International, a leading supplier of advanced thermal processing equipment for the alternative energy and electronics manufacturing markets, today announced the appointment of Dante Ballerini as Manager, Information Technology.
Ballerini comes to BTU with an extensive background in managing information technology in manufacturing environments. Prior to accepting the position with BTU, Ballerini was director of information technology for a large New England-based manufacturing company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northeastern University and a master’s degree in business administration from Boston University.
“We are pleased to have Dante as the new leader of our information technology team. He has responsibility for both our US and Shanghai facilities,” said Peter Tallian, chief financial officer for BTU International.

We have some important projects on our plate this year,” said Ballerini. “Many of these projects not only save the company money and reserve working capital, but also allow us to respond more quickly to our customers and with greater precision.
