IPC J-STD-001 Trainer (CIT) Recertification Training Course

IPC J-STD-001 certification establishes expertise in Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, a global authority in electronics assembly manufacturing. This certification prepares individuals to deliver Certified IPC Application Specialist (CIS) training, enhancing employee skills and performance while meeting training requirements.

The IPC J-STD-001 Certified IPC Trainer (CIT) course follows a train-the-trainer model, combining soldering labs, demonstrations, and classroom discussions to teach the standard's criteria. It's worth noting that this course is advanced, and prior soldering experience is highly recommended. To earn certification, participants must demonstrate lab soldering meeting J-STD-001 requirements, as determined by the master instructor, and achieve a score of 80% or better on both the IPC open and closed book examinations.
