Job Description:

Directs the overall manufacturing/production activities for the Fire System products value stream
-
Responsible for the operation of Printed Circuit Board assembly and Surface Mount Technology.
-
Experience leading new product implementation for the SMT operations.
-
Liaison between Integrated Supply Chain and New Product Development.
-
Establishes best-in-class manufacturing processes for all products
-
Develops budget to support manufacturing/production objectives
-
Develops/implements HOS Manufacturing systems and processes to continually improve competitiveness
-
Establishes a materials management/supply chain strategy to optimize value added processes
-
Formulates and installs standard practices based on comparative studies of methods and costs
-
Provides Operations team with effective leadership, guidance and communication
-
Creates work environment conducive to worker morale, motivation and to the accomplishment of performance objectives

Develops strong liaison with customers
-
Entirely responsible for the Safety, Cost, Quality, and Delivery of the value stream
-
Responsible for establishing and meeting plan for value steam to achieve plant-wide goals, metrics, and objectives
-
Delegate goals to functional leaders consistent with capacity of product/process/people
-
Monitor and drive plans within their organization
-
Standardize effective solutions to existing problems
-
Communicate goal process and roadblocks to site leader
-
Coordinate and share knowledge with other value stream or functional peers
-
Drive broader functional knowledge expertise and learning through the organization
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience of 10 years in managing a manufacturing environment
-
8 years of experience in managerial positions
-
5 years experience with Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma
Additional Qualifications:
-
Experience in the electronics industry - Printed Circuit Board Assembly Operation
