We've used both effectively to resolve this issue. Check with your stencil manufacturer. Often, they can give you a very good starting place on issues like this since they see everyone's designs. John S.

I have used a 10% area reduction with home plates on 6 mil stencils with good success. If you're using 5 mil stencils you might go with 0 or 5% reduction.

Do not forget Siemens placers who have un important market portion of the whole Pick and place arena. But as SaiWong says, it depends in which part of the World you are interested to investigate. Regards.....GS

I wouldn't count Siemens as a major player for very long in this business. They are attempting to sell out to Samsung at this time.

Shocked ! Are you kidding. As a percentage of all of Siemens revenue you've got to get out the microscope to find what the pick and place machines are bringing in, not to mention profit margin. I would bet its the dog of the whole corporation.

Rick, my understanding is that the US do not have plan's fr lead free legislation. However the European legislation states that any product entering the european market after June 2006 must meet the lead free std's of the directive. So basically if
