I have never had this come up before. We have a customer that would like all their BGAs baked before production. No a problem, but one of them is in tape and reel. I don't know the temperature limits of tape and reel. Has anyone done this and at what

I've wondered about the 5% spec myself. Section 4.2 points out that "The oven used for baking shall be vented and capable of maintaining the required temperature at less then 5% RH.", leading me to believe this spec even applies to ovens used to bak

Dason, I apologize if some of the information sounds redundant but I don't think I explained my point very well (and the standard can get really confusing at times). I definitely agree with using C-SAM to look for internal defects. My only advise i

Look into dewpoint calculations. Then find the dewpoint for the ambient air where the oven is. Then calculate the RH of the oven at full temperature at that dewpoint and temperature.

We too are baking required components at 125 degrees C. One of the problems that is comming up is components packaged in tubes. The tubes cannot stand the 125 degree requirement without melting. 50 degrees is a safe temperature for low temp carriers

Oh, for a second there I thought it was 257 C, not F. Solder temperature! Still, one WEEK at 257 F seems way extreme. Maybe this is to bake out a part that has been underwater for a week. Is this a military part? I can't imagine any commercial-g

Good Afternoon, The PVC tubes, unless marked otherwise, cannot see 125 degrees C. I have baked smaller level 3 parts at 40 degrees C for 9 days in the tube. I had tried several different temperatures but found out the the max temp for the tubes is d
