Yup. It was definitely checking the fiducials as well as the block skip marks and it used to work pretty well. What it did was started at the center of where the fiducial should be and scanned left. When it found a change in contrast it scanned righ

The 740 and 760 basically have the same specs as far as component ranges: 0402-50mm components. The 760 is a bit more accurate and the vision system is better. The 740 was designed when BGA weren't really around and so it can barely vision center b

Open the rear door that has the cooling fans on it. Look at the wiper blade regulator, look toward the front of the machine about 8" or so and to then left 3"or 4". There should be a lexan cover/box over the board that has this pot. on it. If stil

You wouldn't think that placement would affect dewetting or solderability....I wouldn't have either, until it was the only thing left in our process, and when we changed it, things got better. I couldn't begin to explain why, either. The only concl

Hi, I think vision 20 will work as well. If not we have used 100 or 105. Have you tried placing the part with the machine trace on? If so is it finding all the leads? any error codes? If you are defining the leads in the EL lead data I would not d

In a nutshell, Cp is a measure of your process variation compared to your spec limits and Cpk is measure of both variation and how well your process is centered within your spec limits. Cp = (USL-LSL)/6*sigma where USL=upper spec limit LSL=lo

So, I haven't used my Quad 4C for a while and when I started everything back up to run a new board it appears that the Quad align is in need of calibration. When I pick up a component and do an LAE measurement on it it shows the part center location

I have seen a similar error on a Quad 4C machine. When setting up the parameters on a tray part there are several points of data you have to input. You have to teach where the center of the 1st part (and you have to know which corner your machine con
