we have a static problem with 0603 led when removing the plastic retainer from the tape and reel. same problem with the feeder causing reject and bad placement. is there someone having the same problem? and how to fix it. thank you

Clark, Which component type are you using? Deform? also, is this a domed led? and if so, are you using a nozzle with an approriate ID to seal on the body? Not every LED may be able to be placed with a 4791. Todd

We have the same problems. We are using Universal equipment. In our case as I suspect in yours its a residue on the LED's not the machine.

Is there any sticky residue on the top of the part? Or maybe it has something to due with magnatism and maybe you could source a plastic nozzle instead of using the standard machine nozzles. Good Luck
