We are testing SAC paste for thru-hole components in the 2nd reflow process. The solder joint is alright but some problem encountered in FR1 or CAM2 PCB after multiple times of reflow due to the temperature. We are very interested in Zn or Bi-based l

I presume you are looking at low melting point solders. Firstly, I would consider running BOTH sides with the same paste - this will cut down the opportunities for a mix up with rework or retro-fit. Secondly, check that there is a cored wire availabl

I doubt that the interposer is FR4, it's more likely to be BT. Warp during reflow is a function of material a reflow recipe. Your ramp is too fast and is causing the interposer to bend like a potato chip.

Profiles are absolutely the first course of action to validate. A few additional questions would be: * Moisture can cause warping as well, verify the manufacturers recommended handling procedures were followed. * Where is the suspect BGA located

We can clean the blank out of LARGE BGA. [Cleaning small BGA is a whoooole nuther issue.] But before we get into that, what's the problem and its breadth? Why are you getting poor wetting? What's the story on the components, board, process materia

Is anybody doing BGA soldering water clean solder. If yes how you are ensure cleaness. We have boards with Four BGA and 2000 chip and ICs.We are processing with no clean solder but we are getting bad wetting so now we are planning to switch to water
