Hi All; Anybody here have experience in AVR80 BA DS65 CC process? I have an issue with the curing process at 28 degC RT. Can somebody recommend how to accelarate the curing without IR oven? thanks

What about dispensing SMT epoxy (cures at much lower temperatures, than solder reflow), p+p components, run through the oven to cure, and using a laser selective solder robot to solder the pads?

Outside the box: Can you retro your oven with a belt chain combo? I always order my ovens this way just in case. No pallet or carrier needed then. Can justify retro against the cost of the pallet or carrier. Two part epoxy instead of heat cure?

Hello Hai, The first step is to determine where in the process the bubbles are being generated - either during coating or during curing. You can easily check this by letting a few boards air dry (no oven) and comparing them to the oven-cured ones. I

Thanks everyone, I have found your postings very helpful for reflow ovens and intend to review my reflow calibration and validation, but in this particular instance I should have been more specific. We use the non conveyorized type of oven (Ten

Some people run underfill through their reflow oven set with a normal recipe, but at breakneck speed. We think that might not produce the cure that we'd like to obtain. We'd don't use our reflow oven because we don't want to given-up the time to

dave, where I work they are having the same problems with 1B31 acrylic. The coating thickness is 6-8 mils dried so that have to do several passes with an air dry between them and a final oven cure. They think that it might be related to the heating r

PVA and Specialty Coating Systems both have equipment that are easy to program and maintain. It is a spray booth so maintenance needs to be regular or you will have quite the headache. We have a conformal coating line with 2 coaters a board flipper a

Call your glue manufacturer. It sounds to me that the epoxy is not curing properly. You should also test for shear strenght. How many pounds of pressure does it take to "pop" a cured component after it comes out of the oven? What type of oven do you
