If machine serial tag referring to 3Ph, 208-240V then you cannot apply 3Ph, 380V. In order to use 3Ph, 380V supply you have, machine needs to be retrofitted to work with this voltage. If you apply 380V without voltage conversion, you will damage som

We have been using a Heller 1707EXL (7 zones + 1 cooldown zone) for lead free (ROHS) soldering since 2007 with good results. I wouldn't go any lower than 7 heat zones though. If I may brag a bit....The IPC-7095 revision C standard was released a fe

Greg: Heller 988s are good, solid, basic reflow machines that will turn paste liquid for 85-90% of all applications. I'm not sure what you mean by "is it comperable to the larger heller with a slower rate?" But, yes it will need to be run slower t

We found the blowers were usually fine, but the capacitors strapped to the blower motors were failing. They were under $5 each from Digi/Mouser/Allied/RS. Worth keeping a few around. Last place had 12 Hellers including a 1500 doing ROHS with no is

The 1500 is rated for up to 300c. So it shouldn't have a problem with lead free right? http://www.petlock.com/data/Heller_1500_specs.htm

I am most familiar with Heller (10 yrs. of 1088 4 zone - 1800 8 zone ovens) and find them to be very reliable. Other Manufacturers may have five zone ovens on the used market. (I used Petlock as an example because you could get data sheets/specs from
