Hello, We have recently bought ZipaTec select 250, we are having problems with offsets. Somehow the offset of fluxer, wave and preheat dont match one another or the program we create. The previous owners are of no help. The main question i have

The smallest finished hole available for 2 layer board is .020”. The smallest finished hole available for 4+ layer board is .014”. All holes are round and drilled through from top to bottom layer of board. No blind or buried vias. For holes = .15

250C peak temp seems very high for components. Thermal damage, which is latent like ESD damage, can occur on components at temps as low as 235C. Looking at component specs to see what the max temps are is a good idea I think when doing Pb Free trials

Hi you need to dip long enough for the temperature of the part being soldered to reach about 20 degrees above liquidus of the solder. For the small parts we dip solder we had Sn62 and SAC387 baths set to 250 degrees and this seems to work best for us
