Rob, The first thing I checked was the profile, just for that reason. We've profiled the board with thermocouples on both sides of the battery clip and the profile looks good.

Thank D.B. Cooper, actually this LED has 3 sides termination but no termination at underneath of LED. So this LED tends to float rather than performing solder joint during reflow process.

It's impossible to do so.The cooling phase is important to perform the strength of the solder joint.Without this phase,the good solderbility will not able to achieved.

Been loading lead free (steel, bismuth) for a couple of yrs. now. Our Wildlife division went ROHS on the waterfowl hunting some time ago. So now we just wound geese and ducks and let them die somewhere that they are of no use except coyote food!
