We are a high mix - low/medium volume company running an older MyData upgraded TP9 machine. It does a good job placing 20 mil pitch and 0402 components. We have not tried to place 15 mil pitch. Breakdowns/repairs have been relatively low consideri

We are high mix low volume company and we use a MYDATA TP9. Very good machine that can place 0402's effectively. Issues we've had include: Maintenance - It is an older machine so, it has needed a little more than I care for. Cost of Feeders and Maga

Daniel, We'd recommend MyData's as good low foot print, short quantity machines. They have a good level of flexibility for the price and operation. Considering what you've described, an older used TP9 would suit you. I'll caution you, though, tha

We're running an older TP9-U, and clocking in somewhere around 3000 cph, realistically. Placements, however, are very accurate. Works fine down to 0402's, high-pin count QFPs, etc. My -U doesn't do great on optical centering...it works, but it's a

Hi, They are a nice machine, and very low cost. We had one, and it was not fast, but it did a nice job. It only places one component at a time, however it was accurate on the 0805 components we used on it at the time. However I don't know how it wou

We are running an upgraded, refurbished MyData TP9 machine in our high mix, low volume production. With those improvements it does okay on the 0402s. The TP platform is no longer in production but they are still providing good support for machines

Mydata TP9-2 and TP11-UFP difference

The UFP was a designation for "ultra-fine-pitch"; but, for the most part, you should be able to get the same placements out of both machines. Anything 0402 or above can be mechanically centered. The UFP machine will lean on optical centering for .5
