How can I get past error codes upon startup of a Panasonic BM221? There is a password required and this machine was acquired from an auction. Are there default passwords, or is there a way to reset the machine? Thanks

You're using a SAC305 chemistry? Double check your liquidus temp! Your profile shows a liquidus temp of 217 degrees C. SAC305 is not eutectic. (It doesn't transition from paste to liquid instantly). It goes thru a "pasty" stage. We use a temp of 221

Some of my friends ask me if sombody use lead free solder ball on BGA, espically PBGA packages. I wonder if 96.5Sn/3.5Ag (m.p .221 oC) or 58Bi/42Sn (m.p. 138 oC) would be suitable candidates? Do you have any experience on this subject? Kelvin

Typically 1% resistors indicate the decimal position with an "R" 22R1 most likely means 22.1 ohm. Again the best answer is to go to the manufacturer's website to learn how to properly identify the particular component. The ones that really confuse
