We have tested several that have come in to our facility and all the ones we have seen so far are ESD safe matierial (black). I'll take these over rubber bands any day!

This esd safe carpet is new to me. How is the carpet tested/maintained? Are you still wearing the typical foot strap or did they sell you some other kind of footwear? Sorry for "changing the initial subject" of this post.

Nelco was developed by Park [ http://www.parknelco.com/parknelco/highspeed.htm ] Without fairly involved testing, you may be forced to rely on a c of c from your fabricator. Although, Park may be able to give you a lead.

Thanks from your answer. A few days ago the supplier told me about these rolls. Now I am waiting for them and I will make tests. Maybe I will also try to reduce the ejection speed but this will lengthen the process

Leather is not very insulative. AFAIK a lot of good quality dress shoes are naturally ESD safe. (or maybe test too low.) Check the dress shoes with a tester. And I'm guessing that stapling the straps is out of the question.
