PCB TOLERANCE - PANEL ARRAY VS SINGLE

Electronics Forum | Sat Jul 15 04:30:27 EDT 2023 | ttheis

I'm no expert but my understanding from our processes is that each board in a panel is individually photo etched with it's own fiducial marks. When it is being assembled the placements on each board are referenced to their respective fiducials for co

Panelized boards

Electronics Forum | Mon Jan 28 07:34:21 EST 2002 | cnotebaert

Yes, there are a few companies that make de-paneling equipment, Cab is one of the larger they make scoring and tab de-panelers. Just keep in mind regardless to what type of equipment is used if the parts are to close to the board you still run the ri

HOW THICK CAN A PCB BE FOR PANELIZATION?

Electronics Forum | Mon Aug 18 08:27:35 EDT 2003 | JAMES

Can anyone tell me how thick is too thick for panelization to be used. We have a board current that is 100 mils thick and I was told it can not be panelized. Could anyone tell me if this is true or not.

Printing on a pallet

We are running mainly aluminum boards and lots of them are not square shaped. You can panelize any shape board, you need just add little routing to your panel design. I attached one picture with panelization example (routing and V-cut mixed).

Solder buildup inside Relow Oven

Electronics Forum | Thu Oct 23 04:19:15 EDT 2014 | garteaga

Our reflow oven builds solder on one specific panel type. It will have solder buildup inside the oven. We then end up with small solder balls on our panels. We think it may be the solder paste, the screen printer is leaving a clean wipe under the pa

How long can solder sit on panel

Electronics Forum | Wed Aug 09 10:51:22 EDT 2017 | cbeneat

I have a question for the experts. After a panel is printed, how long is too long for the panel to sit prior to reflow? I understand each paste will be different, wondering if there is a general rule of thumb?

Is it a single membrane switch or part of a panel. If single, chase down a similar type, if part of a panel you may be able to go back to the manufacturer for a replacement panel. Otherwise drill a hole and install a replacement unit being careful to

Is there any good articles to read on solder paste?

Electronics Forum | Thu May 30 12:27:25 EDT 2013 | ericrr

I was more interested to read up on paste, As for the short run of 50 panels was finished, the panels dribbled out slowly. about three times the second day I took off the paste, mixed it up and put it back on, seems to do the trick. Also I gave ea
