Dean How old are the DEK units that you have. The purpose of the printer will be for small runs. The problem Im having with our current ultriprint 2000 is it seems to require re-alignment each time the product is setup.

check the solderablity of the board and the thickness of the solder before screening, if you are using HASL finished boards.

I will just like to know if is ok to build a board with a BGA ,with water soluable paste and washed or is better to use a no clean paste . And one last question , what do you guys think about the better paste Kester or Indium .

It is okay to use OA flux if you have a very robust cleaning process. lots of water and saponafier are good things. No-Clean is much safer when it comes to reliability. I personally like the Indium no-clean products. Russ

I noticed a supplier using Windex to clean OA flux (from core solder) from a SMT assembly. A toothbrush was used. Other than the fact that this was manually cleaned, should I be concerned about the Windex?

Russ: If its true that they have been reworked to HASL I guess that something went awefully wrong at that stage. If you have some bareboards left have them checked thoroughly. M2C Wolfgang
