Hello Alvaro If I understand you what you want is a refigerator with multiple glass doors, thermostatic control and a readout of the actual temperature inside. I'd suggest a restaurant equipment supplier. I've seen many of these with pies, cakes an

Alvaro, I have a reefer case just like you described. I bought it at a going out of business sale at a floral shop. They kept flowers in it. Runs on 120VAC to.

I also heard of a company considering a patent on aperture design. The aperture was a "chevron" aperture, very similar to the "V" shaped aperture recently touted in SMT magazine, presumably for the purpose of reducing solder balls. Go figure!

Solder Balls

Had a similar problem recently where there were scatered balls and voids in joints and on the surface of the joints. The paste was dispenced from a cartridge with no kneeding or mixing before printing. The result was spitting and voids. Mixed the pa

Solder paste in Syringe vs Jar

Electronics Forum | Wed Nov 06 09:01:59 EST 2002 | russ

Syringes seem to keep the paste fresher longer since there is less exposure to air than a jar. It is also nice to be able to just squeeze the trigger on a gun instead of using a spatula in my opinion. Russ

Wave Soldering for TO39 component

I've never had one "float" in the wave. Have you tried waving yet to see? Anyway, glue would work, or you could place a a small weight on top, or clinch a couple of leads. Russ

ceramic cap cracking

Electronics Forum | Thu Feb 03 10:01:08 EST 2005 | Philj

Try heating a blank board on a hotplate to 183 deg C. with a board this thick, if the layer construction is poorly balanced, it may bend enough in the region of the ceramic capacitor for the soldered joints to crack it on cooling to ambient.

Solder paste height checking

A couple of features on your stencil printer that should help with a couple of potential printing processes: A temperature control unit and the automatic understencil cleaning with the chemical of your choice. That alone, will reduce the chances of

Reflow problem resonator

Electronics Forum | Fri May 27 08:11:27 EDT 2005 | Joris Groot Koerkamp

I have a problem with a Murata cap chip type resonator(ROHS). After the reflow process, the soldering joints flow to one side of the component. I did not have this problem with the leaded component. Did someone have a solution for this problem?
