thanks for all the replies. we clean our Dek Stencils after use with IPA. What gloves do you guys use when cleaning stencils? I have found some info. relating to Latex Gloves as been a possible cause..

I would like to find out what is one of the most common cleaning solvents used in screen printers. By this, I mean which solvent is used in the solvent tanks to clean under stencil in DEK & MPM's etc. Please, no sales guys, only real users. Cheers,

No it's not a dry or defective trap. The exit line of the stencil sink is piped into a regular slop sink. There are no sewer gas smells coming out of the slop sink trap.

Who is your stencil vendor? I'd ask them if they have any standard guidelines. That's what I did. I took their standard design guidelines, made them mine and have been making additions and changes since.

The stencil thickness should be 5.5 mils.The squeeze speed around 20mm/s,print gap 0.15mm,print separation 0.3mm/s.
