Depending on your application, you may need to pre-heat before Soft Beam (unless they make one for it now). Plus, very small connections seem to push it's limits. The beam can only get so narrow. Lasers are good but reflectivity can come into play

Is it the CREE with the soft dome? We had to get specially made nozzles for our SAMSUNG machines to pick up cree LEDs correctly. They are basically rubber tipped. We bought from Count on Tools website.

I have programmed/operated all but the siemens... fuji-1 it is the fastest machine, and for high volume. Use also Unicam makes it easier to program. Now Im just talking the CP, the IP im not to fond of use something like the universal... MYDATA-2

Thought I would reply and try to assist. PROMATION, my company, also manufactures Diode Laser soldering systems but with this stated we also manufacturer iron tip systems, soft beam systems and hot air solutions. The reasons are simple. Diode Laser
