Clear Anodizing

Electronics Forum | Fri Jan 24 12:26:42 EST 2003 | cyber_wolf

I know that this is not really SMT related, but does anyone have any knowledge of any process for removing clear anodizing from aluminum ? I am trying to find a way of removing the anodizing without dissolving any of the aluminum. Thanks

0402 stencil design

Stephen's correct. Radiased outer corners on 0402 pads really do seem to improve things. We aim to try "squared-up semicircles".

Epoxied Parts Falling Off

Electronics Forum | Fri Feb 21 11:46:27 EST 2003 | larryk

Anybody using Smart Sonic model 6000 stencil cleaner? We're looking to try one out on the production floor, but I figured I'd see if any one was using it and had horror stories or rave reviews.

Try http://www.mfgcatalyst.com Vey inexpensive and easy to use. Small company MRP system with shop floor functions. We use it for the shop floor portion. It was much easier to implement than our $100,000 MRP systems.
