Does anyone have experience with Dimensions software on Universal GSM platform equipment? Specifically, I'm interested in installing it on OS/2 based machines and need to know if it is compatible. Thanks!

Dimensions is compatible with OS2 machines. Could you please specify what module you are looking for? What level UPS software is running on your machine and what functionality are you looking for?

Either method is acceptable: * No IPC approved method * Applying flux only is easier than applying paste * Paste gives a higher stand-off, which should improve reliability

Hello! Check your stopper up/down sensor position. This problem has nothing to do with the proper data. Sometimes the sensor position is not correct or sensor contact could cause this problem even I/O mode was OK. Regards! LMQ

Electronics Forum | Mon May 10 07:53:30 EDT 2004 | pjc
most machines have fixed angle of 6 deg. some are adjustable from 5 - 7 deg., but 6 is most popular.

it can adjusted per the machine and your boards, Not a fix for every board, also if you are talking about the LF wave soldering process, it should be moved to largr angle compared to the tranditional sn/pb soldering

I am looking for a industry specification for the amount of strain that is allowable during a parallel blade shearing operation as related to ceramic capacitors. Does anyone know of such a specification? Best regards, Jeff
