Electronics Forum | Fri May 19 13:40:36 EDT 2006 | grantp

Hi, Sorry to drag this thread up again, but we were recommended to change the wave to SAC305, but is everyone recommending SN100C? That seems to be the feeling on this thread. What flux is used? Regards, Grant

Poor Paste Release

Electronics Forum | Mon Jan 09 07:56:49 EST 2006 | slthomas

Squeegee pressure or height, snap off, the age and/or condition of the paste and the condition/cleanliness of the stencil are about all I can come up with, unless you got a new stencil and you changed the design parameters or they made it wrong.

There is a log in the machine that needs to be renamed and cleaned out. It is called manuinfo and is in the SCP System directory. We copy this file then rename. then we delete the data out of the old one. This will speed you way up.

We've checked the Amplifiers, and the optics and they seem to be finctioning just fine. The issue doesn't seem to be related to specific heads. The errors show up often, and on random heads. Do you think this could be faulty reverse theta motors?

I think your refering to the sleeve. It is held in with loctite 262 or something. You can set up a bearing puller with a socket to pull it out around station 2-3. Fuji will drop the whole gear out to do this. Too much for a few sleeves.

You also should check to make sure you have blow off at the placing station set properly. I have seen machines with the flow control valve shut completely off not release parts properly. The parts end up in the scrap bin and the machine thinks they

Soltec Parts - cheap?

Never had anything to do with Soltec so I cannot comment on their service. However. You must realise that machine manufacturers/distributors incur a cost in storing spare parts and making them available for immediate delivery. They are not held on co
