Any SMC resseler may have the Venturi filter for the Juki... as for the Yamaha, i don't honestly know.

Just guessing here because I haven't researched it and we're not lead free yet, but wouldn't you want a flux chemistry that's optimized for higher iron temps for lead free use?

Steve; This is true if you want to use the solder wick that comes with the flux in it. We use no flux added solder wick. We use our normal flux then when we remove solder.

Good one chunks!! Great way of proving a point With lead-free, engineers walk on thin ice and sales people are in heaven. If a flux can't handle an increase of 30C it wasn't a good flux to begin with.

It goes to show, EVERYONE (Equipment OEM's, solder paste, flux, wick, etc) is benefitting from this Lead-Free legislation. It's even created jobs in the US, and has taught many a Process Engineer the basics of soldering and profiling.

You will not get a "visible" solder joint on this part. The joint is under the part. If you can magnify the part, you'll see the exposed lead is not plated.
