Electronics Forum | Tue Jul 12 11:50:23 EDT 2005 | Mark

Chris (if thats your real name), For 0201 I only use Asahi from Singapore. If it is 0402 Asahi is by far the best. Kester is mainly used for 0603 and Indium is a good choice for BGA's only (and some QFP's). Just my frank opinion. Hope the infor

Lead Free Stencil Design

Electronics Forum | Tue Jul 12 20:03:13 EDT 2005 | Tom

Most Lead Free Solder suppliers are saying that stencil aperatures should go to 1:1 or have no change from previous stencils design. Only one solder supplier seems to be complicating the process....is their solder very different?? Can anyone share st

Electronics Forum | Thu Aug 04 06:44:54 EDT 2005 | Rob

QFP Solder PROBLEM

Electronics Forum | Thu Aug 25 11:45:42 EDT 2005 | slthomas

I would attack the simplest possibility first. Make SURE you have enough solder paste going on the pads. If you don't, not only will you not have enough solder to make a good fillet, but you might not have enough flux available to allow what little s

We've never heard of this [but all of our gold is electroless, not electrolytic]. If the delamination is caused by the electroylic gold finishing and the via plug process during fabrication, something is wrong. Either your supplier: * Is goofy ...
